Melting Play DOUGH?!

July 9, 2013

Have you ever been at home with your siblings and needed a quick, simple activity to do? I’ve got the perfect solution for you! Try concocting this wierd substance one of these lazy summer afternoons….

Here’s what to do: put some cornstarch (about a cup or two) in a bowl. Add just enough water to form a goopy mixture. Add food coloring, if desired. This will keep everyone occupied for hours. It looks messy but will clean up in a cinch. ;) Try it and see!

Happy Tuesday!

Wow! This is so much fun! A lady at my church once made this for me when I was 5 or 6, and I had a blast playing with it…until I spilled it in the backseat of our van. Yeah, not good. :) But it was fun! ;)

Oh, woops! I should have said that it’s easy to clean up on a kitchen counter, haha! :D I’m sure it would be messy in a car.
      <3 you!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I am desperately trying to think of ways to keep the little boys occupied, plus Kassidy who broke her leg on Saturday (poor thing!). This is a blessing! I will definitely have to try this one! :) Thanks!

Oh good, Kaitlyn! I hope your siblings enjoy it. :) So sorry about Kassidy’s leg….I hope it heals quickly.

We like to put it in a ziplock bag and keep it. ;) Plus it’s no mess that way.

That is a very good idea…I think I’ll steal it next time we make some. :)
