Blueberry Lemonade

August 2, 2011

Blueberry lemonade is a cool, refreshing drink. In our house, it’s a new family favorite! Make this delicious drink on one of these hot summer afternoons. Enjoy!

I always double the recipe, but here are the original measurements:

Ingredients: 1/3 cup lemon juice, 2 cups frozen blueberries, 2 cups water, and 1/3 cup sugar.

Put all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth (about 1 minute). Pour through wire mesh strainer, if needed.  I don’t strain it because we have a powerful blender, but if yours leaves the seeds and skins intact, you would probably want to strain it.  Makes 4 1/2 cups.

    That looks SOOOOOO yummy, Brooke!

I love how you set up the picture. It looks extremely tempting – lovely colors.

I’ll have to try ithis recipe someday soon…with maple syrup substituted for sugar, perhaps! (some people like to tease me because of my love for maple syrup!)

    Soli Deo Gloria! Love,
